Install Claude Desktop if needed
Open Customize → Connectors (or Settings → Integrations in some versions)
Click Add custom connector
Paste this URL, then Connect and sign in with Contentful:

Common tasks

Examples you can paste into Claude (or use the matching MCP prompts):

Edit a page: “Update the hero heading on /about-us”
Create an article: “Create a new blog article titled …” (Claude will ask for the article type)
Go live: After Claude saves a draft, open Contentful and publish — cms-edit does not publish for you

Use Contentful only to publish and upload images. Do all copy editing in Claude.

Troubleshooting

Connection stopped working? Open Customize → Connectors and click Connect again.
Wrong space? Your Contentful account must have access to this site's space.
